Foodies helps a private group found a club, invite its people, plan the next gathering, coordinate contributions, and keep the club’s story together over time.

The founding story

Our founding cook-off is called Tower Duels. Two friends lived in the same building, and each duel put two competitors in two apartments, cooking from two kitchens with two teams behind them. Winners earned bragging rights. Foodies grew from wanting one place to organize the next duel and preserve the matchups, dishes, winners, and running record.

Foodies was built from that first-hand experience. It is not a public event marketplace or restaurant directory. It is a private home for the people who already want to gather and need a calmer way to keep the ritual going.

The gathering matters more than the software. Foodies should make the next dinner easier to carry forward, then get out of the way.

  • Private by default. Clubs and member details are not turned into public content without explicit permission.
  • Useful before promotional. Guides and tools should help even when someone does not create an account.
  • Proof before claims. We label illustrations, avoid invented adoption metrics, and correct material errors.
  • One clear next action. Product messages and emails should be useful, consent-respecting, and easy to stop.

How we publish

Foodies Clubhouse Editorial creates our public guides with review from the founding team. We show publication or revision dates, state where an example comes from, and revisit content after product changes or search-performance reviews.
