Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using Foodies Clubhouse, you agree to these terms and the privacy notice. If you use Foodies for an organization or group, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that use. Do not use Foodies if you cannot legally enter this agreement.

Accounts, clubs, and invitations

You are responsible for the email account and sign-in links used to access Foodies, for activity under your account, and for keeping invitation capability links within the intended group. Tell Foodies promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Founders and members must respect each other’s privacy and permissions. A founder may manage club settings and rotate an invitation link, but ownership of a club space does not give permission to misuse another member’s personal information or content.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Foodies a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, adapt for technical display, and deliver that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for names, photographs, prompts, logos, text, locations, and other content you add. Do not add sensitive details about another person without their knowledge and appropriate permission.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• use Foodies for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or harmful activity;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation, consent, or ownership;
• upload malware, probe or bypass security, scrape private areas, or disrupt the service;
• collect, expose, or commercialize member or club information without permission;
• use generated or uploaded content to infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; or
• resell or automate access in a way that burdens Foodies or avoids stated limits.

AI-assisted and generated content

Some features may use third-party AI providers to create text or images from your direction. Output can be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to material generated for others. Review it before use and do not rely on it for legal, medical, dietary, allergen, financial, safety, or other professional decisions. Foodies does not guarantee exclusive rights or that output is free of third-party claims.

Purchases and credits

If Foodies offers a paid credit pack or other purchase, the price, currency, quantity, and material conditions shown at checkout form part of these terms. Payments are processed by the identified payment provider. Except where law requires otherwise, consumed digital credits are not refundable. Foodies may correct duplicate charges, failed fulfilment, fraud, or obvious pricing errors.

Food and gathering safety

Foodies coordinates a private group; it does not verify recipes, ingredients, allergens, food handling, alcohol service, transportation, venues, or guests. Hosts and members remain responsible for direct communication and safe, lawful decisions.

Availability, changes, and suspension

Foodies may change, pause, limit, or discontinue features and may suspend access needed to protect the service, comply with law, address risk, or enforce these terms. Where practical, Foodies will give reasonable notice of material changes.

The service and public resources are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Foodies disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-party services and links

Foodies relies on and may link to third-party services. Their own terms and privacy practices apply. Foodies is not responsible for independent third-party content, availability, or conduct.

General terms

If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest remains effective. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. Applicable Canadian law governs these terms without limiting mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
